Find Grace Church on MapQuest

From I-395

• Take the “Glebe Road” Exit 7 in Alexandria:

If traveling south, there is only one exit; turn left onto Glebe Road at the light.

If traveling north, take the first exit; it will end up going right onto Glebe Road.

• At the first traffic light, Glebe Road splits into South Glebe (to the left) and West Glebe (slight right ahead and over the bridge). Go straight onto West Glebe (go past a Pizza Hut).
• Continue on West Glebe and turn right at the third traffic light onto Russell Road.
• Turn into the parking lot on your left. If the parking lot is full, continue on Russell Road past the church, turn around, and park on the same side of Russell Road as the church. There is no parking across the street from the church.

From I-495 (Beltway)

• Take the “Route 1 North” Exit 1-B in Alexandria.

• The street changes names from South Patrick, to North Patrick, to Jefferson Davis Highway. Just keep going.

• After going over the railroad tracks (Monroe Avenue Bridge), continue for about ½ mile and watch for Del Ray Mirror and Glass on your left. That is East Glebe Road; turn left. Continue straight on East Glebe for about 3 miles.

• Turn left on Russell Road (there is a traffic light).

• Turn into the parking lot on your left. If the parking lot is full (which is rare), continue on Russell Road past the church, turn around and park on the same side of Russell Road as the church. There is no parking across the street from the church.

From George Washington Parkway

• Watch for sign “Memorial Bridge.” The exit to I-395 south will be the next exit. It is poorly marked, so be prepared to exit to the right just past the “Memorial Bridge” exit.

• Follow the I-395 directions above.

By public transportation

• From the Braddock Road Metro Station, take DASH bus AT3. The bus stops just outside the Grace Church parking lot. On the weekends, the AT3 runs on an hourly loop, picking up at the Braddock Road Metro Station at 38 minutes past the hour and arriving at Russell and Glebe Roads at 45 minutes past the hour. Pick up the same bus to return to the Metro station.
