Give unto
the LORD the glory due unto his name;
worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness. (Psalm 96.7-9)
According to the Book of Common Prayer ministry is not
just the obligation of the bishops, priests and deacons, but the
responsibility of every member of the Church. At Grace Church there are
myriad opportunities to participate in the worship services (see Service
Opportunities below).
Traditional Eucharistic liturgy and fine
music are hallmarks of worship at our parish, sometimes described as
Anglo-Catholic or high church. There are five celebrations of Holy Eucharist
every Sunday, including two choral Eucharists (which means there is both
music and Holy Eucharist), and celebrations of Holy Eucharist throughout the
week.
In addition, Grace has a growing
cross-cultural ministry to the Spanish-speaking people in the surrounding
neighborhoods, including a Sunday celebration in Spanish of La Santa
Eucaristía.
Visit the links below to see a schedule
of services, and to find information on the many opportunities to
participate in the ministries of the church and its outreach programs.
Many Episcopalians make daily use the Office of Morning
and Evening Prayer contained in the Book of Common Prayer. You may
visit our links page to
access the online versions of these Offices in both English and Spanish, as
well as links to the Bible, the Book of Common Prayer, and many other
resources we hope will be of interest to you.
