Welcome to Grace!

We are…..

  • A center for worship and fellowship;
  • A school for discipleship and stewardship; and
  • A community for healing and outreach.

We live our mission through regular participation in the Eucharist and the practice of our baptismal promises. Traditional Eucharistic liturgy and fine music are hallmarks of worship at our parish. Please explore our website to get to know us or, better yet, come visit!

Grace Church COVID Guidelines

Below are the Grace Church COVID Guidelines as of December 2021:

For Sunday worship, as well as during evening program activities, Grace Church will require masks for all people above 2 years old. We ask unvaccinated individuals not to sing during worship.

On Sunday mornings, masks may only be removed during coffee hour in the auditorium of Merrow Hall, and then only while actively eating or drinking. Other special events involving food and drink may take place with prior approval.

If the rate of infection (new cases per 100,000 population over a seven-day average, as found at the Brown School of Public Health) rises above 25, putting the City of Alexandria in the Red Zone, we will re-evaluate these practices.

During school hours, Grace Church will follow the practice of Grace School regarding mask-wearing. This means that in shared and public spaces, masks will be worn at all times. No one walking into the space should be surprised by an unmasked environment. In private offices or closed meeting rooms, vaccinated individuals may remove their masks when alone, or in groups by mutual consent of everyone present.
