Enjoy these updates from our EYC missioners who are in New Jersey helping to rebuild homes damaged during Hurricane Sandy.
Day 1
After church, we departed
And thus our mission started.
Bathroom breaks and traffic galore,
We stopped for lunch and drove some more.
Finally at little egg harbor,
noticed Sean had gone to the barber.
We had pizza pie
Goodbye 😉
Day 2
Woke up early and bright
To kick off the mission on site
Dry wall, foaming, and putting in screens
We knew this would be the mission of our dreams
AB and Jenni arrive
Now or group can really thrive
Sub-par pickles but dinner was good
Peace out hood
Day 3
We never knew we were so handy
until we met Andy
Meeting the home owner was really sweet
and we had slurpees for a treat
One legged Jenni, killing the game
Her drywall hanging skills put everyone to shame
We went to bowl at thunderbird
Follow the diagram is all we heard
Sean came through clutch
even though he didn’t do very much.
Jeffreeze was a must
