Welcome to Grace! Bienvenido a La Gracia!

To Love, Proclaim, and Serve God through

Amar, Proclamar y Servir a Dios a través de

  • life-giving liturgical worship
  • joyful community
  • empowering others

We live our mission through worship, in which lay adults, children and youth participate alongside our clergy.  Traditional, life-giving Eucharistic liturgy and fine music are hallmarks of worship at our parish, and we have weekly services in both English and Spanish.  We create a joyful community with a harvest of fellowship activities and events for all ages.  We empower and serve others through vital ministries, particularly around feeding the hungry.  Please explore our website to get to know us or, better yet, come visit!

Brown Bag Lunch Week – June 26 – June 30

The sign-up notice is on the Outreach bulletin board on the first floor, along with instructions for making sandwiches and serving. Though it is summer vacation time, help is still needed to provide lunch for those hungry and often homeless of Alexandria. Please sign up to make either 10 or 20 sandwiches or to serve the lunches at Meade Memorial Church. You can also e-mail linda.waskowicz@gracealex.org to volunteer.

Housekeeping at Church

We are hoping to have a clean out day in July where volunteers will be going through the attic and basement.  If you have stuff stored there, please contact our Senior Warden, Lorna Worley, at lorna.worley@gmail.com

How full is your garden?

Do you have a vegetable garden?  Consider giving a portion of your bounty to the Food Pantry.  During the summer, we try to provide fresh fruits and vegetables as bonus options for our clients.
