Celebration of Christian Education on Sunday!
Please join us in thanking these amazing volunteers for all their hard work. To read more about it, see the article in this month’s Grace Notes. There will not be an Adult Forum.
Haiti Micah Sponsorship
Did you know that Haiti is slightly smaller than Maryland and has twice as many people. 56% of the population is under 25 years old. The Haiti Micah Project helps to provide for the basic health care, and provide beginning vocational skills when age appropriate. It is amazing how much Father Constant is able to do for these children with just a $365 annual sponsorship per child. For more information, contact Mary Ann Ryan at maryan4202@gmail.com.
Dialogue and Dessert Series: Bullying
Our neighbors at Beverly Hills United Methodist Church (BHUMC) will be hosting a discussion on bullying on Sunday, May 21stat 6:30. The church is just over the hill from Grace at 3512 Old Dominion Blvd. in Alexandria. The Grace Mission and Outreach Committee are partnering with BHUMC on key Outreach programs. The Dialogue and Desert Series provides forums on specific topics of interest to the community. We will continue to publicize these events as they are scheduled.

The anthem is O Clap Your Hands by Ralph Vaughan Williams. The Handbells will play a prelude and accompany the choir during communion. Please invite a friend to experience the beautiful liturgy and music.

The Boys and Girls choir will lead us in Choral Evensong. The setting of the Magnificat and Nunc dimittis is by Canadian-born, U.K. based organist Sarah MacDonald and includes the world premiere of Festal Preces and Responses by Richard Newman written for the Boys and Girls Choir.
