Welcome to Grace! Bienvenido a La Gracia!

To Love, Proclaim, and Serve God through

Amar, Proclamar y Servir a Dios a través de

  • life-giving liturgical worship
  • joyful community
  • empowering others

We live our mission through worship, in which lay adults, children and youth participate alongside our clergy.  Traditional, life-giving Eucharistic liturgy and fine music are hallmarks of worship at our parish, and we have weekly services in both English and Spanish.  We create a joyful community with a harvest of fellowship activities and events for all ages.  We empower and serve others through vital ministries, particularly around feeding the hungry.  Please explore our website to get to know us or, better yet, come visit!

Opportunities to Help in Our Community

Thanksgiving Baskets

Every year Grace families sign up to support other families in our La Gracia community at Thanksgiving. It is time once again to begin signing up for this wonderful, heartwarming giving program. You will find a sign up in the lobby next to the parking lot and it will remain there until Sunday, November 12. Please write legibly. Once you have signed up, you will receive via email the shopping list and delivery instructions. Thank you! Please contact Sally Schneider with questions.

Christmas Giving Program

While the Thanksgiving Basket program is underway, please remember that the Christmas giving program will immediately follow Thanksgiving. We are working on the format of this year’s giving program, so stay tuned. More information is to come, but we will be supporting our La Gracia community through this program. If you are interested in helping, please contact Sally Schneider.

Meals on Wheels Volunteers Needed

Please consider joining other volunteers from Grace Church at 10 a.m. on the 1st Friday of the month to deliver meals for the Alexandria Meals on Wheels program. Generally, two volunteers make 8-10 deliveries on a carefully planned route normally requiring only 1 ½ to 2 hours. Several long-time volunteers have recently had to retire from this ministry and there are several slots to fill. To volunteer or for more information, please contact Mike Reed.
