Christmas Eve Schedule
- 3:00 p.m. Eucharist for Families: This service has children as readers and the sounds of the Boys and Girls Choir. Following the service, the children sing Happy Birthday to Jesus and celebrate with a cupcake!
- 5:00 p.m. Traditional Christmas Eve Eucharist with Brass
- 7:30 p.m. Contemplative Choral Eucharist
- 11:00 p.m. Traditional Midnight Mass of the Nativity of our Lord
Carol Preludes on Christmas Eve
Please join us at 4:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. on Christmas Eve for a carol prelude led by the choir. At 4:30, you’ll get to hear brass and one of the most beloved hymns, “Once in Royal David’s City”. A setting of “The Holly and the Ivy”, the Sussex Carol, and holiday organ music will be offered at 10:30. An added benefit of attending these choral preludes is that you’ll have an opportunity to get good seats!
Christian Education Hour
There will be no Christian Education Hour on the 24th or the 31st due to the holiday schedule. On the 24th, we will be preparing for the Christmas Eve services and on the 31st we will have 7:30, 10:00 and 5:00 services.
Gifts for the Creche
Christmas Eve is coming soon and at our 5:00 service we will be presenting our gifts at the creche. This year the gifts will benefit Doorways for Women and Families. Please see their list of urgently needed items or visit their Amazon Wish List. It includes everything from pacifiers and security blankets to clothes and baby monitors.
