Welcome to Grace!

We are…..

  • A center for worship and fellowship;
  • A school for discipleship and stewardship; and
  • A community for healing and outreach.

We live our mission through regular participation in the Eucharist and the practice of our baptismal promises. Traditional Eucharistic liturgy and fine music are hallmarks of worship at our parish. Please explore our website to get to know us or, better yet, come visit!

This Sunday at Grace: March 18, 2018

Instructed Eucharist at 9:00 a.m. on Sunday
What is an Instructed Eucharist?  Instead of a sermon, Father Malm will be providing commentaries on the different parts of the service to help newcomers and children in our congregation to understand how we worship.  There will be printed guides available.

Christian Education Hour

  • Adult Forum: Part 4 of the Belief Series – God Help Us
When tragedy, illness or loss feel overwhelming and relief seems beyond our reach, many believers appeal to their faith for strength.
  • Inquirers’ Class and Holy Communion Series
Father Malm will meet with the Inquirers for a discussion of Holy Week and Easter.

Sign-Ups and Donations

Candy and Prizes Needed for Easter Eggs
We could still use more candy and prizes for Easter Eggs.  Donations of candy, gummies, or even quarters are welcome.  No chocolate please (it melts in the eggs).  Donations should be left in the collection bin outside the parish office. The J2A will be stuffing the eggs on Palm Sunday (March 25).

Agape Feast Sign-Ups
Come join the Fellowship celebration of the year as we cast off the Lenten fast and make a joyous Easter Feast and welcome our Bishop! The reception is in Merrow Hall Auditorium immediately following the Easter Vigil on the evening of Holy Saturday, March 31. See the sign-up poster in the Foyer near the glass doors to the parking lot to sign on for set up, clean up and bringing finger savories or sweets! Beverages appreciated as well.

Sign up for Maundy Thursday Prayer Watch
Sign up rosters for the Maundy Thursday Prayer watch are posted in the Narthex and the Merrow Hall entryway.  Acolytes will be on watch at the Altar of Repose from the conclusion of services on Thursday until early Good Friday morning. Join them for an hour (or half hour) of personal meditation.

March for Our Lives
The weekend of March 23, we will be hosting a youth group from Asheville, NC who will be participating in the Saturday march in DC. We would love to put together a welcome basket for the group, full of snacks and drinks, for their time in DC. Ideas would be cases of water, granola bars, bags of fruit, etc. Snack donations can be left in the St. Luke Room.
