Welcome to Grace! Bienvenido a La Gracia!

To Love, Proclaim, and Serve God through

Amar, Proclamar y Servir a Dios a través de

  • life-giving liturgical worship
  • joyful community
  • empowering others

We live our mission through worship, in which lay adults, children and youth participate alongside our clergy.  Traditional, life-giving Eucharistic liturgy and fine music are hallmarks of worship at our parish, and we have weekly services in both English and Spanish.  We create a joyful community with a harvest of fellowship activities and events for all ages.  We empower and serve others through vital ministries, particularly around feeding the hungry.  Please explore our website to get to know us or, better yet, come visit!

This Sunday at Grace: March 24

The Decalogue (Ten Commandments)
We recite The Decalogue at our choral services for three Sundays in Lent. This has been part of Anglican worship since the 16th century. The 1928 BCP directed The Decalogue to be read at least one Sunday each month.

Adult Forum, March 24 (St. John)
William Tweedley, Manager of Spiritual Care at Alexandria, Inova Hospital.

Listening is at the core of all healthy relationships with our family, friends, colleagues – and in our spiritual lives too. And yet, too often, we don’t feel listened to by those around us. In this Forum we will learn different levels of listening, and how to manage the obstacles that prevent us from truly being engaged in conversation, even with people we don’t know or with whom we don’t have much in common.

Inquirers Class (Library)
We will be exploring the History and Ministry of Grace Church.

The Seven Experiment
Today we will explore Session 3: Possessions of the 7-week Lenten Bible Study entitled The 7 Experiment: Staging Your Own Mutiny Against Excess and briefly look ahead to Session 3: Possessions. This study takes seven areas of our lives that are subject to excess: clothes, spending, waste, food, possessions, media and stress, and asks us how the excess in our lives are hampering our relationship with God. Registration has ended; however, if you would like to attend, we would love to have you. If we run out of books, a separate order can be placed this week.
