Welcome to Grace! Bienvenido a La Gracia!

To Love, Proclaim, and Serve God through

Amar, Proclamar y Servir a Dios a través de

  • life-giving liturgical worship
  • joyful community
  • empowering others

We live our mission through worship, in which lay adults, children and youth participate alongside our clergy.  Traditional, life-giving Eucharistic liturgy and fine music are hallmarks of worship at our parish, and we have weekly services in both English and Spanish.  We create a joyful community with a harvest of fellowship activities and events for all ages.  We empower and serve others through vital ministries, particularly around feeding the hungry.  Please explore our website to get to know us or, better yet, come visit!

Welcome Sarah Spurlock Biggs, 2022 Summer Seminarian!

Sarah, a Postulant for Holy Orders from the Diocese of Virginia, is a rising senior at VTS. During the summer of 2021, Sarah served as a Chaplain at Mary Washington Hospital in Fredericksburg, VA. This past academic year, Sarah served as a seminarian intern at St. David’s Episcopal in Ashburn, VA. A native of Steubenville, Ohio, Sarah has lived in the Washington metro area for 19 years. She currently lives in Centreville, VA with her husband Jim, their sons Charlie and Owen, and their dogs Honey and Clifford. Before attending seminary, Sarah taught General Music and Chorus for Fairfax County Public Schools and served as a music director, soloist, and section leader at several churches in the local area. Sarah is particularly interested in the ways our beliefs inform how we live and respond to the needs of our neighbors and world. Her academic interests include pastoral care, ecumenical and interfaith relations, spiritual direction, and ethics. Sarah is so grateful for the opportunity to learn from, and journey with, the people of Grace! Sarah will be with us full-time through early August.

Look out for Sarah to introduce yourself!
