Bishop Goff extended the suspension of public worship in all parishes of the Diocese of Virginia through June 10.
This means that sadly we will not gather for public worship during Holy Week or for Easter Sunday. This is heartbreaking news for us all, as we struggle to make sense of this new reality surrounding the Coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic. It is so hard to imagine not being in church during this holiest time of the year. But as Bishop Goff reminds us, this is the way for us to do our part, along with the rest of the world, to slow the spread of COVID-19. This is the very best example of how to love our neighbors as ourselves.
Please know that the clergy, staff, wardens, and vestry of Grace are working hard to provide online alternatives to our Sunday worship and formation. We want to stay connected as much as possible during this time – please try to participate online as much as possible!
Beginning this week, Holy Eucharist at the High Altar at Grace will be recorded and available for viewing online anytime on Sunday and during the following week. A link to the video recording will be sent out by email every Sunday morning and available in the Latest News section at www.gracealex.org. Videos will be posted to our YouTube channel.
Also, a Sunday Zoom online schedule will be offered for Adult and Youth Formation via live Zoom Videoconferencing – links will also be sent out soon and posted on the website. Additional opportunities for children and families will be available in Jenni’s Wednesday RoundUp.
- 9:30 a.m. Virtual Coffee Hour – Check-in and Fellowship

We are all in this together. God is with us, and we will make it through this difficult time as the faithful people of God that Grace has always been. Please reach out to any of us by email anytime, or call the parish office to speak to clergy or staff. The parish office is closed, but clergy and staff will be checking email and responding to messages left at 703-549-1980.
