God blesses us so we might bless others.
The Kathleen Arthur Fund was created in 2019, upon the passing of Kathleen, with the sole purpose of helping those in need within the city of Alexandria. Kathleen was a native and lifelong resident of Alexandria as well as a member of Grace Church. Kathleen and her husband Edward were always assisting those in need within our city.
During Covid, this Fund kept many from being homeless as the Fund paid rents and utilities and provided some food items as well as emergency expenditures. We made a difference in people’s lives and now we want to reach out to others, as we are partnering with two other nonprofit organizations to assist their efforts with the homeless population as well as newly arrived Immigrant children trying to adapt to schools in their new country. Please know also that 100% of your donation goes to families in need. All expenses to run the Fund are donated for administrative expenses and do not come from the Fund.
Any donation you could afford would be sincerely appreciated and will allow your dollars to help other Alexandria residents. To donate online, click here and select the K. Arthur Crisis Fund in the drop-down menu on the Give to box at the top right of the page.
