Welcome to Grace! Bienvenido a La Gracia!

Amar, Proclamar y Servir a Dios a través de

  • life-giving liturgical worship
  • joyful community
  • empowering others

We live our mission through worship, in which lay adults, children and youth participate alongside our clergy.  Traditional, life-giving Eucharistic liturgy and fine music are hallmarks of worship at our parish, and we have weekly services in both English and Spanish.  We create a joyful community with a harvest of fellowship activities and events for all ages.  We empower and serve others through vital ministries, particularly around feeding the hungry.  Please explore our website to get to know us or, better yet, come visit!

Pledges and Offerings

Everyone has the opportunity to support the mission and ministries of Grace Church by making a financial contribution. Grace Church cannot operate without your financial support.  Donations and pledges are accepted at any time.

Most parishioners choose to pledge an amount that they will give over the course of a year to support the church.  A “pledge” is different from a “donation” because a pledge is a promised gift rather than an immediate one. In the fall, Grace Church promotes a pledge drive campaign to encourage this type of financial support for the church, which is essential to planning an annual budget.  Parishioners’ pledged offerings typically provide 85% of our annual income.

Offering Envelopes

If you would like a set of offering envelopes, please contact the Parish Administrator. Contributors who are “known to the Parish Administrator” (i.e., Grace Church has your name and address) receive quarterly Contributions Statements suitable for tax purposes. Offerings placed in the pink envelopes go toward the Altar Fund, and support the cost of wine, wafers, and other sacred items that are part of our services.

Cash Donations

Some members of Grace Church use the plate offering for contributing checks. Cash donations also can be recorded through the use of cash contribution envelopes found in the pews.  If you would like this donation to be recorded against your pledge, please write your pledge number (corresponds to the envelopes) in the memo section.

Electronic Giving

One of the ways you can give electronically is through Tithe.ly. Donations can be made to the general church operating fund, or to specific funds listed on the form (a “restricted gift”).  Donations that are made to specific funds can only be used for that specified purpose (e.g., a donation to the Flower Fund is only used for flower related expenses).  Donations can be made from a checking account, savings account, debit or credit card (Visa or Mastercard only). Using the online form you may set up an Automatic Recurring or One-Time donation(s).

Please be aware that all donations made through Tithe.ly are charged a fee for using Tithe.ly’s services.  These fees must be paid either by the church, or by you.  If you would like 100% of your donation to go towards Grace Church’s mission and programs, please select to pay the fees.  (They are subject to change, but typically are about 3% for credit cards and 1% for bank accounts).  Let us repeat: if this fee is not chosen to be paid by the donor, Grace Church will be charged this cost by Tithe.ly.

If you have questions concerning the completion of the form or any other matter concerning electronic giving, please contact the Treasurer (treasurer@gracealex.org).
